Three events will take place on WA soil during the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia’s 2026-27 schedule.
The WA PGA Championship and WA Open take place over back-to-back weeks in October in the now-traditional ‘WA swing’ that serves as part of the prelude to the Australian Summer of Golf.
Staged at Kalgoorlie Golf Course, the CKB WA PGA Championship presented by TX Civil & Logistics runs from October 8-11 and offers a total prize purse of $250,000.
The WA Open takes place at Secret Harbour Golf Links a week later, from October 15-18. South African Oliver Bekker defends his title, with players competing for total prizemoney of $200,000.
Both events will feature 36-hole All Abilities championships on the weekends.
Players Series Perth, hosted by Minjee and Min Woo Lee, meanwhile, is the first tour event of 2027, with Royal Fremantle hosting from January 7-10.
WA golfers have won the past two iterations of the event, with Jordan Doull triumphant in 2025 and Connor McKinney lifting the trophy in 2026.
The mixed-field event also features women from the WPGA Tour of Australasia, as well as 36-hole championships for juniors and All Abilities golfers. The prize fund is $250,000.
All three tournaments are free for spectators to attend.

Full schedule revealed
The full Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia schedule features 18 Order of Merit events between August 2026 and March 2027.
The season begins with the PNG Open at Royal Port Moresby Golf Club from August 27-30, before visiting all mainland states in Australia, as well as New Zealand’s North and South islands.
The schedule is headlined by the BMW Australian PGA Championship, from November 26-29, and the Capital.com men’s Australian Open at Kingston Heath a week later.
The two ‘Aussie Majors’ are co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and will feature global heavyweight talent including Rory McIlroy and Cam Smith.
The overall Order of Merit champion will once again earn exempt status on the DP World Tour, following in the footsteps of 2025/26 winner Travis Smyth.
