From January 2026, the Crunch&Sip Junior Tour will be known as the Fuel to Go & Play TeeMates Tour.
Funded by Healthway, Fuel To Go & Play aims to create healthier food and drink environments at sporting venues and events, and help young athletes achieve optimum performance through better nutrition.
TeeMates, meanwhile, is a national junior golf community that provides its members with access to great golfing opportunities all over Australia.
The Fuel to Go & Play TeeMates Tour will continue to act as GolfWA’s key program to introduce junior golfers to competitive golf and help them progress through the game in a fun and friendly environment.
Key Changes & Opportunities
While it is not essential for children to be TeeMates members to play events on the Fuel to Go & Play TeeMates Tour, there are benefits to signing up: —
- Entry fee discounts for TeeMates Connect and TeeMates Plus members — in 2026, TeeMates members will pay $15 per TeeMates Tour event, with non-members paying $25 (TeeMates Connect membership will pay for itself after 5 TeeMates Tour events)
- Free access to TeeMates Tour ‘Level Up’ Development Days in April and October
- Access to $5 junior green fees at Youth on Course partner venues in WA and across Australia (view affiliated courses here)
- A welcome gift from TeeMates; a $20 pro shop rebate; and a $30 credit toward a U.S. Kids Golf Tour equipment or event registration
How to sign up to TeeMates
- Access the user-friendly registration portal here
- If you already have a handicap at a golf club or do not want a handicap just yet, register for TeeMates Connect (cost = $49)
- If you don’t have a handicap and wish to obtain one (as well as receiving the TeeMates Connect benefits), register for TeeMates Plus (cost = $109)
Please note: there is also a ‘TeeMates TeeOff’ membership for complete beginners, but this does not give discounted entry fees to Fuel to Go & Play TeeMates Tour events.
