Women’s Golf Programs
Many Western Australian golf clubs have programs and clinics that are specially designed to help women learn the game of golf. These clinics are a fantastic way to gain golf skills whilst meeting like-minded women who share a passion for the game.
Get Into Golf
Golf Australia’s ‘Get into Golf’ program is a nationwide initiative, offering opportunities for men and women of all ages to learn the game of golf in a safe, friendly environment. Many WA clubs support the program with numerous sessions specifically run for women.
Golf Australia’s Vision 2025
In early 2018, Golf Australia launched a strategy to address a fundamental imbalance in the game and draw more women and girls to golf – Vision 2025. The four-pillar strategy aims to significantly increase participation rates, along with improving culture at golf clubs around the country so that our game is opened up to everyone.
Ivie Temperley Averages
The Ivie Temperley Average Trophy is awarded to the women’s amateur player with the best average score across the year’s rounds and events they played in.
Women’s State Rankings
Here you can find the Women’s State Rankings which are decided over the course of the year and plays into decisions made regarding the GolfWA Interstate teams.
