WA’s leading amateur golfers are now welcome to apply to be part of the High Performance Program in 2026.
The High Performance Program aims to identify, develop and support Australia’s best golfers as they transition into the professional ranks.
The ultimate goal is to produce athletes capable of winning Major Championships and Olympic medals, and of reaching the top 100 of the world rankings.
WA’s High Performance Program is fully aligned with Golf Australia’s national program and requires all interested parties to submit an application — including athletes who have been part of the WA HP Program throughout 2025.
Applications are open until Sunday, January 11, 2026 and must be completed online. The 2026 program itself commences in March.
Athletes will be selected based on results (at club, regional, state, national and international levels); rankings (at state, national and international levels); and subjective criteria including potential, application and attitude.
Successful applicants will receive a range of benefits including gym access; individual performance planning and reviews; service provider access (including sports psychology, physio, nutrition and biomechanics experts); targeted funding; and much more.
