WA Golf Industry Awards

The finalists for this month’s ADH Club Car Western Australian Golf Industry Awards have been announced.

The awards Gala Dinner takes place at Optus Stadium on Friday, March 27, where 21 awards will be presented, ranging from recognition of top PGA professionals, superintendents and club volunteers to best golf courses in regional and metropolitan areas.

A joint initiative between GolfWA and the WA branches of the PGA of Australia, Golf Management Association and Golf Course Superintendents Association, the WA Golf Industry Awards recognise and reward the great achievements made across the industry in the prior year.

Dozens of clubs, facilities and individuals have been confirmed as finalists, with new awards categories this year for off-course facilities and venues that have excelled at driving participation growth.

Brendon Allanby, WA State Manager for the PGA of Australia and Chair of the Awards Organising Committee, believes the calibre of finalists shows the buoyant state of golf across the state.

“Golf in WA is booming right now, and many of the people, clubs and facilities responsible for the game’s continued growth will be in the room with us at Optus Stadium on March 27.

“We’re particularly pleased to see the whole industry get behind these awards, with well over 500 guests set to make it a night to remember.”
