Aglime of Australia will continue to sponsor the Sand Greens Championship of WA for the next three years.
The long-time partner of the event has extended its support until at least 2028, having first come on board as naming rights partner in 2015.
Confirming the partnership, Gary Thomas, Chief Executive of GolfWA, said: “Aglime has become synonymous with the Sand Greens Championship of WA over the past decade and we’re delighted that the relationship will continue.
“The championship is a great celebration of regional golf in WA, and Aglime’s backing ensures this important event has a strong future.”
Fifty percent-owned by Owned by Summit Fertilizers, Aglime has been WA’s biggest supplier of agricultural limesand for more than 40 years and has mine sites in Lancelin, Dongara and Coolimba.
Aglime General Manager Mark Gherardi said: “We are immensely proud of what the GolfWA partnership has achieved so far.
“Aglime’s philiosphy of supporting WA agricultural communities fits so well with the Sand Greens Championship showcasing a different regional town each year.”

Around 200 golfers from all across WA competed at the 2025 State Sand Greens
The Sand Greens Championship of WA routinely attracts more than 200 golfers from all over the state and has been a fixture on the golfing calendar since 1981.
Past champions include Stephen Leaney, Ryan Peake, Brady Watt and Ritchie Smith, current coach of Hannah Green and Minjee and Min Woo Lee.
The reigning champion is Bunbury GC’s Tim Gilotti, who claimed the title at Northam Country Club in August. Next year’s event will be hosted by Katanning Country Club.
