Host venue – Cottesloe Golf Club
Formed in 1908 and originally sited where the existing Sea View Golf Club is today, Cottesloe Golf Club moved to its current location in 1928, with work completed three years later on a 40-acre site situated within a kilometre of the Indian Ocean.
One of the most exclusive and highly regarded golf clubs in Western Australia, Cottesloe GC is routinely featured in in both Golf Australia Magazine’s and Australian Golf Digest’s top 100 Australian courses lists.
The undulating, parkland-style course has benefitted from the sure touch of renowned golf course architecture firm Thomson, Wolveridge & Perrett and, more latterly, Graham Marsh, who masterminded significant redevelopment work ahead of the club’s 100th anniversary in 2008.
The club has hosted the WA Open and WA Amateur on multiple occasions, with the WA Amateur most recently staged at the venue in 2016, when the titles were won by Freddie Lee and Jess Whitting.
Map of the Course
Cottesloe GC will be playing to a par of 72, with the men’s course measuring 6,156 metres and the women’s 5,185 metres.
