The hotly anticipated Outta Bounds golf entertainment venue at Murdoch Pines is now set to open to the public in June.

Originally scheduled to open last November on the site of the Murdoch Pines Golf and Recreation Park, significant construction delays have contributed to pushing back the opening date to mid-2024.

Following the demolition of the existing clubhouse and pro shop, construction work on the cutting-edge facility is now underway. The redevelopment of the existing driving range will comprise an 18-bay automated outdoor range with Inrange ball-tracking technology and utilise OnTarget’s range of Top Golf-style interactive targets on the outfield.

Inside will be six Foresight Sport indoor simulators, a fitting centre, PuttView putting green, as well as a fully licensed bar and kitchen. PGA pros will be based on-site for game improvement purposes, while a weekly simulator league will provide a fun, competitive golf experience.

Although frustrated by the delays, Outta Bounds Director Nicholas D’Avoine says the wait will be worth it. “Ever since Top Golf hit the US and then came to Queensland about 10 years ago there has been a screaming demand for something of that nature here in Perth. Outta Bounds will offer that kind of experience.

“The project will cater to every person who wants to experience golf, whether they be an elite golfer or a complete beginner,” he added. “We think it’ll be a great asset to the local community and a real destination for golf fans. We can’t wait to get started.”
