WA’s Ollie Marsh added two more title to his burgeoning resumé with victory in significant junior events in South Australia and Tasmania.

Marsh’s first silverware of the year came at the South Australian Boys’ Amateur Championship at Kooyonga GC in Adelaide, where he overturned a three-stroke deficit in the final round.

Closing with a rock-solid, two-under-par 70, the 17-year-old Wanneroo GC member reeled in and overtook overnight leader Troy Storm (Singapore) as he posted a one-stroke victory over local favourite Alan Xin.

Marsh’s state mate Declan Pereira (The Vines) was in the hunt throughout the 54-hole championship before eventually settling for T3rd, two strokes off the winning score.

Marsh followed this up with a T3rd finish alongside WA state teammate Nate Johnson (Joondalup CC) at the SA Junior Masters at Royal Adelaide before heading off to Tassie for another duo of junior championships.

It was the first of these — the Tasmanian Junior Amateur at Ulverston GC — that yielded Marsh’s second win of his eastern sojourn, with rounds of 74, 72 and 71 for a one-over-par total giving him a three-stroke win over the highly regarded Malachy Marshall.

Gosnells GC’s Mason Burr enjoyed a 4th-place finish, while Kortni Houston (Lakelands CC) and Meihui Zhao (Royal Perth) were 5th and 7th respectively in the girls’ championship.

Marsh adds the SA and Tas Junior Amateur crowns to the two WA Junior Am titles he picked up in 2022 and 2025.

His trip concluded with a 4th-place finish at the Tasmania Junior Masters, while Houston was the best of the WA girls in T3rd.
