Curtis Luck shot a 6-under round of 66 on day two of the Lake Macquarie Amateur, to sit on top of the leaderboard with a single stroke lead.
After opening the tournament with a 2-under round of 70, the Australian Amateur finalist made the most of some great early scoring conditions at NSW’s Belmont Golf Club, and opening Round 2 with three straight birdies. At 8-under par overall, Luck holds a one shot lead ahead of New South Wales’ Issac Noh and a further shot buffer over Jarryd Felton of Gosnells Golf Club who sits in outright third place.
Felton has put in an extremely consistent performance thus far, making just one bogey throughout the opening two rounds, with seven birdies to his name to sit at 6-under par.
