Collier Park redevelopment

Construction work has officially begun on the $19.8 million redevelopment of Collier Park Golf Course.

Jointly funded by the City of South Perth and Clublinks, the project promises to create “an exceptional venue” that serves as “a true community hub”.

The centerpiece of the redevelopment is a 48-bay, double-storey driving range with interactive gaming tech and direct-to-bay food and beverage ordering.

Beyond that, the site upgrade will also incorporate four outdoor padel courts; a new ‘destination dining’ restaurant; a dedicated function space capable of hosting up to 150 guests; and an all-abilities children’s playground.

City of South Perth Mayor Greg Milner said the start of works marked an exciting milestone for the local community and golf enthusiasts alike.

“This redevelopment will enable Collier Park to become a true community hub, where quality golfing experiences sit alongside dining, leisure and entertainment,” Milner said.

“We’re thrilled to be at the point where construction can begin. Our aim is to create an exceptional venue that caters to everyone, while carefully preserving the beautiful natural environment.”

Collier Park’s General Manager, Gemma Nicholson, added: “What a privilege it is to be able to deliver a venue for the entire community.

“For our golfers, it means our facilities will match the incredible quality of our golf course and give us more pathways to grow the game in future generations.”

Construction on the driving range, main buildings, restaurant and padel courts are expected to be complete by February 2027.

Collier Park’s existing 27-hole golf course and 18-hole mini golf course will continue to operate as normal during that time.
