Construction is officially underway on LaunchPad Golf Fremantle, the $22m multi-level entertainment hub based at Fremantle Public Golf Course.

The project marks the Australian debut for the Canada-based LaunchPad Golf brand, which currently operates three sites in North America.

Designed to bridge the gap between traditional sport and modern hospitality, key features of the development include: —

  • Interactive multi-level driving range with advanced gaming technology in each bay
  • Integrated food and beverage service delivered directly to bays
  • Upgraded site amenities, pro shop and café designed to link the course with neighboring Booyeembara Park

The City of Fremantle is contributing $3.2 million towards the total costs, with Fremantle Mayor Ben Lawver hailing the positive impact the facility will have to offer.

“This project is about delivering real benefits for the Fremantle community — a facility that is safe, accessible and inclusive for everyone,” he said.

“I’m also excited about ensuring that participation and usage of this new facility is safe and affordable, while also remaining inclusive to members of the public.”

The development is being delivered in partnership with Belgravia Leisure as the operating partner, with construction led by Sarich Building.

LaunchPad Golf Fremantle is expected to open in May 2027. Fremantle Public GC’s existing nine-hole layout will remain open throughout the construction period.
