GolfWA has announced a power-packed lineup for the upcoming Jack Newton International Junior Classic in NSW.
The prestigious championship attracts one of the strongest international fields of the year and represents a rare opportunity for Aussie juniors to test themselves against some of the world’s leading young talents.
GolfWA is sending an eight-strong team to compete at Cypress Lakes Golf & Country Club from September 30 – October 3rd, with several players capable of making a run for the respective boys’ and girls’ titles.
Royal Perth’s Australia international Spencer Harrison headlines the WA boys and he’ll be hoping to follow in the footsteps of WA state teammate Josiah Edwards, who won this event in 2024.
Harrison spent much of the WA winter in the United States, with a top-10 finish at the PGA Junior Championship in Indiana amongst his achievements.
He will be joined by WA junior state representative Nate Johnson (Joondalup CC) as well as Thomas Pyke (Royal Fremantle) and Mason Burr (Gosnells GC), both of whom make their official GolfWA debuts.

Gosnells’ Mason Burr will make his GolfWA debut after an impressive year
The girls quartet is also of the highest order, with serial title winners Isabella Leniartek (Royal Perth) and Katie Seol (Cottesloe GC) leading the WA challenge. Both have represented WA at junior and senior level in 2025 and have the games to prosper at Cypress Lakes.
They are joined by fellow state junior representatives Kortni Houston (Lakelands CC) and Aileen Sirait (Gosnells GC) in a stacked WA lineup.
Houston and Pyke will also be travelling to South Africa to represent GolfWA at the Devonvale Boland International Junior Open in Stellenbosch from October 7-9.
