Mount Lawley Golf Club played host to ladies from 45 West Australian clubs on Monday for the 2020 Annual Silver Spoon play-off. The course was described as “magnificent”, “breathtakingly beautiful” and “just perfect conditions” offering the participants no excuses for any fumbles in their golf!

This year due to playing limitations, ladies qualified by entering the best two nett rounds of Silver Spoon Stroke play in their home club. It was a pleasure to see so many regional and metropolitan members enjoying the golf, company and hospitality at Mount Lawley Golf Club.

The 2020 State Winner at Club level Silver Spoon for the best two nett aggregate scores is awarded the prestigious May Stillman Cup. Congratulations to Rosslyn McLernon of Royal Perth GC for winning for her successful rounds bringing her to the top of the state silver spoon leaderboard.

Robyn Lamb from Lake Karrinyup Country Club is to be congratulated on winning the State Level Gross Award for the aggregate of best two gross scores for 2020 (75.77).

The International Bowl State Silver and Bronze winners were scooped up by the ladies from Northam. Congratulations to Jenny Becker and Ruth Hall of Northam Golf Club, Silver and Bronze State winners for 2020.

Many thanks to the staff and volunteers at Mount Lawley Golf Club for hosting the 2020 Silver Spoon and offering all the ladies such a warm welcome.
