Regional Golf

Junior golf is an integral and growing section in regional Western Australia. Junior golf clinics and camps are held throughout the year, especially in the winter season for junior golfers in the area.

Golf WA assists in funding for regional junior golf clinics and camps throughout Western Australia.

Partnership with PGA for Juniors in Regional Areas

 

Golf WA is in the process of planning for junior programs in regional areas from 2012 onwards.

More details of the programs will be distributed later in the year.

MyGolf Regional Program

Golf WA has identified 6 regional areas to run the MyGolf program in 2012.

The program consists of:

• Visits to 5/6 schools in the local region in May or June
• Junior golf clinic held in June or July school holidays in the local region (Application form)
• Follow up visits in the 5/6 schools above in August or September
• Golf WA Camp held in Perth from 8 - 10 October (October School Holidays)

 

The 6 identified areas are:

• Geraldton
• Avon Valley
• Katanning/ Lake Grace
• South West (Bunbury and Busselton)
• Albany
• Peel
