MYGolf National
Junior Program

The MyGolf National Junior Program is a nationwide program by Golf Australia to introduce kids to golf and further encourage the growth of the game

The MyGolf program is held in schools and centres (golf clubs) across Western Australia. The program consists of:

MyGolf National Skills Challenge Chart & Challenge
MyGolf Centres
MyGolf in primary and secondary schools

MyGolf National Skills Challenge & Awards Program

The Skills Challenge provides a framework for assessing the progress of individual juniors as their skills develop. Targeting boys and girls aged 8 - 16 years, the program mantra is designed to develop 6 key skills of the game:

Rip It - Long Shots
Roll It - Putting
Chip It- Chipping
Fly it - Pitching
Blast It - Bunker Shots
Bend It - Manoeuvring the Ball

These skills are tested across five graded levels in each of three main award categories i. e.

BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD

MyGolf Schools 1 & 2

MyGolf Schools 1 and 2 are programs designed for School Teachers, Development Officers, Community Coaches and PGA Members to delivery golf at schools or at a golf course.

MyGolf Schools 1 is an introductory program for primary School kids.

MyGolf Schools 2 is a more advanced program and empowers the students to participate in the running of the program. It also provides numeracy and literacy components mainly targeted towards secondary school kids.

Golf WA organises and runs the MyGolf in Schools program throughout schools in the Perth metropolitan area only. The sessions are free and Golf WA provides an accredited community golf coach and golf equipment on the day.
