WA Men's State Ranking
The ranking system covers events all throughout Australia. The events are divided between 2 divisions. These divisions are:
- National Ranking Division Events (Carries the most merit points)
- State Ranking Division Events (Covers most local events in WA)
The allocated points in each event are only allocated to WA players, based on their final standings in the event.

Other Conditions
The WA State Ranking Trophy is awarded to the player with the most accumulated points by the WA State Amateur Championship every year. The points roll over and does not reset.
Eligibility to win the WA State Ranking trophy:
- A player has to be based in WA. Main home club is a WA golf club
- A player needs to have a valid Golf Australia handicap
- A player has to complete at least 8 events to be considered for the trophy event. 2 of those events must be competed in WA
