Tournament of Champions
Mandurah's Hayley Bettencourt and Lake Karrinyup's Kiran Dayawala have taken out the 2012 Newman & Brooks Tournament of Champions at Lakelands Country Club.
In fine conditions, Bettencourt had rounds of 76 and tournament low 73 to finish at 5-over par, seven shots clear of Lake Karrinyup's Rachita Vasandani and nine shots in front of last year's winner Alyssa Keir of The Vines.
In the boys championship, Kiran Dayawala sealed his second ranking event, after winning the APC Nedlands Junior Masters in March, with rounds of 68 and 73 to finish three under the card.
Four shots further back was 2011 champion Curtis Luck of Cottesloe. Dayawala and Luck were square after 27 holes, but after a triple bogey on the 14th Luck struggled to maintain composure and consistent Dayawala never looked back.
In third place was Royal Fremantle's Minwoo Lee who finished with rounds of 73 and 74, three over the card.

The event is a 36 hole stroke event.
Players must be under the age of 18 as of 1 January of the event year.
