Jarryd Felton and Ben Ferguson are one step closer to earning a European Tour card after safely finishing inside the top 20 during the second stage of qualifying at Alenda Golf Club in Alicante, Spain.

Bad weather caused long delays for the West Aussie duo who faced a nervous wait before they could get their third and fourth rounds underway.

Felton and Ferguson both finished at 2-under in a tie for 10th, safely within the top 20 players to advance to the final stage of qualifying.

Attention now turns to Lumine Golf Club in Tarragona, Spain from November 15-20 for the gruelling 6-round final stage of qualifying.

Felton and Ferguson must now finish in the top 25 qualifiers out of a field of 156 to earn their 2020 European Tour playing card.
