Aglime of Australia Rural Bronze

Course: Moora Lake View Golf Club

Format: Stableford

Schedule: 18 holes Canadian Foursomes June 28 (optional), 18 holes Stableford June 29 & 30

The 2019 Aglime of Australia Rural Bronze tournament heads up to Moora Lake View Golf Club from June 28 to 30.

Open to women with a GA handicap of 22.0 and above, the Aglime of Australia Rural Bronze is always a fantastic weekend of golf, friendship and fun.

Despite the name, the Rural Bronze is open to women from both regional and metropolitan golf clubs. In fact, there is a perpetual award that the City vs Country women play for. This painting of a pretty Wheatbelt landscape has been awarded since 1990 and the women from the country have won it every single year! If you live in the city and have never played the Rural Bronze before then get the girls together, pack the car and head up to Moora to do the metropolitan clubs proud.

The fun kicks off on Friday with an optional Canadian Foursomes event. This is a fantastic way to familiarise yourself with the course before the Stableford rounds on Saturday and Sunday.

As with most regional events, the Saturday night dinner at the club is sure to be a highlight. This year’s theme is Bikers and Babes… we can’t wait to see some of the outfits!

Aglime of Australia Sponsorship

Aglime of Australia committed to a three-year sponsorship deal of the Rural Bronze in early 2019. This sponsorship shows Aglime’s continuing support for the WA golfing community and GolfWA is extremely thankful for their contribution and commitment.

Aglime of Australia Sales and Marketing Manager, Dave Gartner says that his organisation is committed to giving back to local communities and this new support of The Rural Bronze Women’s tournament was evidence of that.

“Sport plays an important role in rural Western Australia. Golf is a social game that can bring regional communities together and provide opportunities to promote positive physical and mental health outcomes. Our support of The Rural Bronze will contribute to a sense of community pride and that brings us at Aglime of Australia great joy,” Mr Gartner said.
