Cottesloe Golf Club maintained their top position on the Division One ladder after a narrow 4-3 victory over Gosnells Golf Club. Ethan Abraham and Andrew Woods from GGC managed to break the winning pattern of Michael Hanrahan-Smith and Jake Patterson with confident wins 4&2 and 3&2. Paul Patterson of CGC secured his fourth win narrowly defeating Mike Laws of GGC 1UP.

Lake Karrinyup Country Club sits in second position after a confident 6-1 win over Mandurah Country Club. Joe Owen and Frazer Bone of LKCC continued their unfaltering win pattern of five from five winning 7&6 and 5&4.

Hot on the heels of LKCC is Joondalup Country Club who narrowly defeated Royal Perth Golf Club 4-3. 

Royal Fremantle Golf Club had a tough matchup with the Mt Lawley gents making the most of their home course advantage defeating RFGC 5-2. 2019 State Amateur winner Azer Pehlic (MLGC) defeated RFGC Club Champion Hayden Hopewell 3&1.

Next week will prove to be interesting with some key Division One players absent representing WA in the Interstate Series at Royal Hobart. This won’t impact the current leaders CGC who will enjoy a full team and a home turf advantage.

 

Division Two Pennant

Hartfield Golf Club continued their winning streak defeating Melville Glades 6-1. Jeff Ahn of HGC maintained his own perfect record with a 3&1 win, making it five from five.

WA Golf Club maintains second position on the ladder securing their fourth win over Rockingham Golf Club 5-2.

WAGC’s Haydn Barron secured his fifth win 1UP over RGC’s Jason Dunkley. Next week WAGC meet The Vines who are narrowly behind in third place. 

Haydn Barron will be absent next Sunday representing WA at the Interstate Series which could open an opportunity for The Vines team to rise after a successful win over Lakelands in Round Five 4-3.

Nedlands Golf Club made the most of their home ground advantage securing their first win of the season over Bunbury Golf Club 4-3.

 

Division Three Pennant

Playing host, Sea View Golf Club secured top spot of the Division Three ladder after a tight match with Wanneroo Golf Club winning 4-3. 

Sea View is the only team to remain undefeated after Meadow Springs Golf Club was narrowly defeated by Kwinana Golf Club 4-3.

Pinjarra Golf Club defeated Sun City Country Club 4-3. Sun City will look forward to playing host next week and will be keen to make full use of this advantage.
