Maddison Hinson-Tolchard’s stellar 2018 season was last night recognised when she won the 882 6PR Special Achievement Award at the 2018 RAC WA Sports Star Awards.

Maddy’s 2018 season was highlighted by winning the 2018 Australian Girls’ Championship held at Royal Perth Golf Club.

Another victory came when she was crowned Victorian Amateur Champion after defeating fellow West Aussie, Kirsten Rudgeley in the final.

Maddy captained WA to a victory at the Australian Girls’ Interstate Series, also held at Royal Perth. This victory was highlighted when she chipped in on the final hole of competition.

Further afield Maddy was selected to represent Australia at the Asia-Pacific Junior Championship in Hong Kong. Maddy’s performances during the season also saw her qualify for the US Girls’ Championship held at the famed Pebble Beach.
