Jason Scrivener has returned to form in fine style at the Volvo China Open sitting at the top of the leaderboard after a three-under-par 69 during the second round at the Topwin Golf & Country Club.
Scrivener is at eight-under-par overall and is level with Spanish star Nacho Elvira going into the weekend.
The Mandurah gun lit up the course on Thursday to record a five-under-par 67 and lead overnight, with three birdies in his first four holes setting him up for a strong opening round.
The European Tour member had mixed results today, with an eagle on five closely followed by a double-bogey on nine. Three birdies on the back nine saw the West Aussie finish at eight-under and well in contention.
