Christmas is nearly upon us and soon it will be 2018 and with this it is time for the return of the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth which will again feature world-class players from the European and Australasian tours. Marquee players such as 2016 Masters champion Danny Willett, former world number one Lee Westwood, Tyrrell Hatton and defending champion Brett Rumford have already been announced to play in the unique format around the fairways of Lake Karrinyup Country Club..
The 2018 World Super 6 Perth, hosted by Lake Karrinyup Country Club, commences in the week starting Monday 5th February 2018. The event will be run by the PGA of Australia and GolfWA have again been requested to recruit and manage volunteers for various areas of the event.
On behalf of GolfWA I thank you in advance for taking on one of the various volunteer roles at the event.
The format for the week will be as follows:
|Monday 5 February||Practice Day|
|Tuesday 6 February||Practice Day|
|Wednesday 7 February||Sponsors Pro Am – AM & PM|
|Thursday 8 February||Round 1 with 156 players teeing it up|

|Sunday 11 February||Final Round knockout matchplay over 6 holes (Holes 1, 2, 8, 11, 12 and 18|
As a volunteer you will receive a unique volunteer’s hat, shirt (or two if you volunteer for more than two days!), complementary parking with a shuttle bus on the days you volunteer, a ‘tournament’ volunteer’s ticket, additional general admission ticket, food and drink vouchers for your on duty days, an invite to a ‘Thank You BBQ’ following play on the final day plus a thank you round at Lake Karrinyup itself on a date TBC.
The event runs for the full week however the bulk of the volunteer duties are on the actual tournament days from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th February.
Preference will be given to volunteers who are available for all four tournament days (ie Thursday to Sunday inclusive) and note that all volunteers must work at least the equivalent of two full days or four shifts (i.e. 4 AM/PM shifts). The more days you can commit to the better your opportunity of securing your desired role/s as we prioritise oversubscribed roles by commitment. I will note that certain roles benefit from prior experience and as such we will look to past volunteers in a number of key areas.
If you are a returning volunteer please understand that we take your details each year just in case they have changed.
Please complete the online form below and I will see you on the course!
